Wee Purse - Maple Leaf Tartan
Our First Nations knew the secret of tapping the maple tree for syrup and this allowed them to survive and thrive in Canada's harsh environment. Colonial Canada adopted the maple leaf as a symbol of their new home as early as 1700.
Our Wee Purses are individually crafted using wools, tweeds, tartans and velvets. They feature a strap that is hand crocheted from coordinating yarn and either a Celtic knot button made exclusively for us by Atlantic Pewter.
