Hame Tartan Patch Purse
Each Patch Purse is one of a kind. The buttons are handcrafted porcelain and the bag is constructed using cape production scraps, beautiful Scottish wool tartan, and velvet. The hand crocheted cords are individually made to match the embroidery and button.
The Hame (Gaelic for "Home") Tartan design was inspired by the soft misty tones found in the landscape around Locharron Mill in Selkirk, Scotland. Purple heather and yellow gorse sitting amongst the misty green hills, and the deep blues of the rivers and waters flowing through the landscape inspired this beautiful and gentle tartan.
