Celtic Zoomorphic designs were frequently the realm of the Irish and were used extensively in the illumination of the Book of Kells. The barrette measures 1"x4". Available with black enamel or the lovely sheen of a fine natural pewter.
Barrettes use a french-style clip that is chosen to fit the length of the barrette. The back is soldered in place, making it more secure than a glued back.
