According to German folklore, Nutcrackers were given as keepsakes to bring good luck to a family and protect the home.  A fierce protector, the Nutcracker bares its teeth to the evil spirits and serves as a traditional bearer of good luck and goodwill. 

We offer a Scottish Nutcracker decked out in a tartan kilt, fly plaid, and even a wee sporran! His hair and beard is fashioned out of recycled mink fur. Owning a Highland Nutcracker is like having your very own guardian; A playful display of strength, to bring joy, luck and protection to your household.
